Picture Gallery: Fall is Finally Here!

Being that one of my favorite things is celebrating the different seasons, when my husband and I moved in the spring I decided to do a wall gallery of spring inspired pictures. I'm not anything close to a professional photographer, but I do enjoy taking pictures. So, I went around town taking pictures of flowers and anything that made me happy when I thought of spring. Here is the result:
Please note that this was taken before I straightened the frames. :)
So, as soon as September came I was jumping to get some new pictures in my frames for fall. I found that I didn't have as many wonderful pictures as I had hoped, and I can't take pictures from this season yet because our leaves haven't turned. Once they do change I'll go down to the river and try to improve this a bit.
I tried to do mostly landscapes and natural subjects, but due to my lack of choices, I put one of my dog, Phoebe, in front of pumpkins. I'll change it once I get some more pictures, even though it is awfully cute!

New Moon Excitement!

I'm sure you Twilighters already have watched it at least 15 times. But for the rest of you either non-fans or non-obsessive fans, the newest New Moon trailer was released today with a longer version showing on MTV's VMA's tonight. I honestly don't know how I can bear to wait over two more months! I can already tell that New Moon is going to blow Twilight out of the water. The scenes in Italy during the parade look fantastic and exciting! The sea of red, Bella running through the fountain, and Edward stepping out with his shirt off- it all looks so intense! It looks like they added a few things in the scene where they face Aro and the Volturi. That should be interesting. What did you guys think?

And for all you non-fans out there, don't knock it until you've tried it. Seriously, it will change your life. :)

My newest addiction: LUSH Cosmetics!

As I was supposed to be studying for my huge test coming up, I was actually watching one of my favorite YouTube Gurus, Glimmer.Gloss.Glow.  She was reviewing several of her newest handmade soaps, and I got the sudden urge to visit my local LUSH store. Even though some of the things seemed a little pricey for one time use, many are well worth the splurge when you need some relaxation! I picked up a Ma Ta Bubble Bar, which was most enjoyable, and an Each Peach Massage Bar, which was a very special treat.

The massage bar left my skin feeling ultra smooth and soft with a subtle, sweet scent my husband loved! Of course, I had to check out the website for more fabulous things I have never had the privilege to try.  Some of the things I'm thinking of getting soon are some type of shampoo, conditioner, Shave the Planet Shaving Cream, and maybe (if I am brave enough) a Henna Hair Dye. Anyone ever tried these? Which are your favorites?
